Hello! My name is Ashley, and I enjoy all things health law, puns, and tea.
I currently practice law in the dental negligence corner of health law as a Legal Advisor with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario’s Professional Liability Program. Before this, I journied through other areas of health law, having represented health care organizations and their staff (e.g., nurses), veterinarians, physicians, and plaintiffs in medical malpractice and/or regulatory matters. I also hold a Master of Science in Global Health, and have worked with interdisciplinary teams in health policy and risk management. It has been a privilege to learn from, advocate for, and collaborate with people with different perspectives, challenges, and goals.
I started this blog as a way to stay up-to-date with ongoing developments in health law, while creating an outlet for creative writing and development. If would love to learn about and summarize your recent courtroom wins!
